About Us :

BUKDA was formed in 2005 by sons and daughters of Bambui Fondom, Tubah Subdivision, Bamenda – Cameroon who are based in the UK.

Bambui UK Development Association – BUKDA is a charity working within the UK Charities framework. BUKDA has no political or religious affiliation. At BUKDA there are no barriers or limitations based on gender, race, creed or colour.

Our Mission :

BUKDA has the following aims :-

1. Promoting the benefit of Bambui people living in the UK and Bambui through.

  • the advancement of education and training.

  • the relief of poverty, sickness, and distress; through the provision of recreational facilities in the interests of social welfare with the object of improving their conditions of life.

  • Promotion of African culture and values through traditional dance and cultural performances

2. To advance the education of the public on all aspects of the Bambui history and culture.

BUKDA is also actively involved in community building through working in partnership with various organisations from diverse ethnic backgrounds like the Basingstoke Multicultural Forum. Through working collaboratively, we foster friendly, social, moral and cultural ties thereby contributing to community cohesion.
